We are now recovering from all the end of tax year activity and some clients are keen to get investing in ISAS for the new tax year at the new increased rate of £10,680 – so there is no respite for the staff who are now looking forward to their Easter break
Looking at the world economy, this week (on Thursday) the European Central Bank raised interest rates for the first time in three years. The increase was 0.25% making the overall rate 1.25%. In the same week the People’s Bank of China raised interest rates for the fourth time since October. Will we be seeing a rise in UK interest rates in the near future?
